Vietnam was one of the leading countries in successfully setting up the world’s first 5G call and also announced the early commercialization of 5G, moving in line with the world in regard to the new mobile telecommunications technology. However, it has not commercialized 5G as yet. Analysts believe that to successfully deploy 5G in Vietnam, it is necessary to possess all elements of network infrastructure, including licenses, frequency bands, and readiness in device and application ecosystems.
