Boosting Vietnamese coffee products in world markets
According to forecasts, if export volumes over the closing months of the year approximate the result in the closing months of last year and export prices remain equal to the first half of this year, then total export volumes for coffee will reach about 1.718 billion tons in 2023 as a whole, worth $4.2 billion. This would be a new record for the coffee sector. In order to improve the quality and price of exported coffee and promote Vietnamese coffee in world markets, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and localities in the central highlands are implementing a project to build a world-standard coffee material area.
