Faced with new development requirements, the trend towards green and sustainable growth is becoming increasingly clear. Vietnam made a commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050 at COP26, and the appearance of clean energy projects and eco-industrial park models exhibit the recent shift of its FDI from “brown” to “green”. Specific economic models that are adaptive to climate change, including the green economy and the circular economy, are being researched and facilitated in order to promote green transformation during Vietnam’s ongoing economic recovery process. Industries with high added value, such as semiconductors, chips, and AI, are also being actively promoted.
