                                                             Vietnam’s path to green transition began in earnest with the
                                                             adoption of the National Green Growth Strategy in October
                                                             2021, joined the following month by its commitment to net-
                                                             zero emissions by 2050 at COP26 in Glasgow. Amid a host
                                                             of policies and calls for widespread action, it will be
                                                             businesses in the country, both domestic and foreign, that
                                                             act as pioneers and show the way forward, “greening” their
                                                             technology, management concepts, and, ultimately, product
                                                             and service offerings. VET, meanwhile, held the 2024 Golden
                                                             Dragon Awards earlier this month, recognizing foreign
                                                             enterprises for their contributions to economic development
                                                             and specifically their efforts in green investment and
                                                             sustainable development.
